Dragons Everyone knows that dragons are essential for creatures. Well, these beasties are huge, getting bigger than two story houses. They have brilliant scales and huge, draconic wings; spikes down along the ridge of their back, and horns on the crown of their heads. They mindspeak and are extremely smart; some say they can predict the future and know the past. They can also use magic ^.^ Bonding Dragon bondings are very “ceremonial”. The mother and father will be present; pay respect to both, though mostly the mother because she’ll be closer. Everyone will approach an egg that appeals most to them (try to not go to one that already has a person if there’s another egg open). Then, when the egg hatches, the dragons will either talk to you and give you their name, or they will go to the person they want. They bond in caves at the base of the Twin Volcanoes because of the heated sand. Mating Draon mating is fairly simply. The female eats one animal, and then leads the males on a chase through the sky. Ranks • Moonstone: Moonstones are the Queens. Their scales are deep, deep blue with a silver/periwinkle sheen to them. Their horns and spikes are from Sapphires. Many people’s first impressions are that they’re cold; but Moonstones are actually very warmhearted and friendly, but they feign strictness and dejectedness for leadership purposes. They’re very loyal and trustworthy, not to mention they have a certain state of mind about morals. 5 CP • Alexandrite: Alexandrites are the Jr. Queens. They are just a tad smaller than Moonstones, and their scales come in deep purples. Their horns and spikes are amethysts. Alexandrites are very outgoing and loudspoken, not afraid to say their minds. They also are demanding, not outrageously so but still, sometimes they may get annoying. Though the calmer ones don’t prove any problems. 4 CP • Sunstone: Sunstones are the higest ranking kings. They are larger than Iolites but smaller than Moonstones. Their scales are yellow, gold, and amber. Their horns and spikes are amber. Sunstones are true leaders, very good and not egostical. They are even tempered and very fair, but they do know how to keep other dragons in line. 4 CP • Fire Opal: Fire Opals are the lowest kings, just a tad smaller than Alexandrites. Their scales come in bursts of oranges and red, their horns and spikes are rubies. Fire Opals have firey tempers, are big brutes that demand respect and leadership. They can be quite tough to handle, and Sunstones sometimes have problems with them. 3 CP • Rhodochrosite: Rhodochrosites are non-queen females. Their scales are different hues of pink, their horns and spikes are garnets. Rhodochrosites are flirtatious and charming, cute and innocent. But do not underestimate them; they can be witty and smart as well. They’re just playing the blond act. 2 CP • Goshenite: Goshenites are non-king males. Their scales are silver and white, their horns and spikes diamonds. Goshenites are wise and strongwilled, set in their ways and extremely smart. 2 CP • Diopside: Diopsides are non-king males. They are deep greens, their horns and spikes are emeralds. Diopsides are quite calm and quiet, observers and rarely social. 1 CP • Pearl: Pearls can be either male or female. Males are white pearls with black pearl horns and spikes, while females are just the opposite. Pearls’ personalities vary, and cannot be determined. They normally impress someone with the same personality as them; or the exact opposite. 1 CP

Firelizards Firelizards come from Pern. Nobody knows why they appeared or why the decided to come to Univerze, but nobody asked questions. They’re just the same; with soft hides, able to communicate with images and feelings. However, mixed in with the normal colors were new ones; which intruiged the residents of Univerze all the more. Bonding Firelizard bonding is fairly simple. Pay your respects to the mother, if she’s present, take an egg or two depending on the rules of the bonding, and when the egg hatches feed it; quickly. Don’t let it wander or it’ll go to someone else who has food. They’ll stay with anyone who feeds them. Mating Firelizard mating is the same as dragon mating. Ranks • Gold: Golds are the original queens. Their hide comes in different shades of gold, and they are commanding and demanding, just like a queen should be. They love to be pampered and adored by their bondeds, and are very protective of them, and normally don’t let anyone handle them except their bondeds; though very rarely they’ll allow another person to pet them. They clutch 15-40 eggs. 4 CP • Silver: Silver flitters are the Jr. Queens. Their hide comes in gentle shades of silver. Sivler firelizards are generally calm and fair, perfect leaders but not outrageously demanding. They clutch 10-20 eggs. 4 CP • Bronze: Bronzes are the original kings. Their hide comes in shades of bronze, obviously, and bronzes are very firm and watch over the others. They always submit to the two queens, but other than that, they are the leaders. 3 CP • Black: Blacks are the Jr. Kings. Though they’re not pushovers, they certaintly don’t press anyone, and are very aware of other’s feelings and moods. Their hide comes in blacks and grays. 3 CP • Browns: Browns are considered kings and not at the same time. These original flits are normally calm, down-to-earth and never get excited. Though their personalities do vary, that’s the normaly brown. Browns come in different shades of, you said it, brown. 2 CP • Red: Reds are non-king males. Their hide is firey reds and oranges. Their temper matches those harsh demanding colors, and Reds can be slight bullies. 2 CP • Amber: These are non-queen females. Coming in shades of golden reds and oranges, they are fairly nice and friendly, and very shy. Ambers are modest and though their hide is stunning, never seem to agree. They don’t clutch. 1 CP • Blue: Blues are non-king, original males. Coming in shades of blue, blues are normally very flirtatious. But other than that, their personality varies. 1 CP • Green: Greens are non-queen females. They are the most flirtatious, flighty, and demanding flitters you’ll get. They clutch really small, never reaching over 9. 1 CP • White: Whites are the runts. They are always male, their hides are white; they are extremely smart, the only flits able to use words in their thoughts. While reds, greens, and the occasional blue pick on them, even the queens seem to respect them; to an extent. They are extremely shy and cautious, almost always nervous around the higher ranks. They never fly. 1 CP

Ekells Large, owl-like birds. Size of a draft horse to a normal owl, depending on their rank. They use mindspeak but are known to be quiet. They are extremely wise and quick-witted. They have feathers on their backs, wings, and heads, and have velvety fur on their belly and legs. Bonding When they are old enough (three months old), their parents will bring them to either a cave or on a cliff; then, the potential bonders will come and wait for an Ekell to approach (one might want to acknowledge the parents, as well). Do not try to bribe them, for nothing will work; they might talk to you, and sometimes they’ll go to another person. If they bond, they’ll ask you for their name. It can be anything. Mating When a female is ready to fly, she will wait at a cliff edge and give an eery call into the night. Once a few males show up, she’ll lift into the sky, and a flight chase will begin. It might be just a chase, with the female pulling up quite a few tricks; or it might be a gentle glide with questions, or maybe even insults to see who is a better insulter. It all depends on the female. Ranks • Snowy: These Ekells are the Queens. Snowy Ekells are a tad bit larger than the Horned, and have black and white feathers& fur. Their beak and talons are white. Snowy Ekells are quiet but have a very demanding prescence. 4 CP • Horned: Horned Ekells are the only kings. They are gray or black with the occasional silver, with two large, curved horns right behind their ears. Normally, Horned Kings areas big as draft horses. Horned Ekells demand respect and are very firm. They are always the leaders unless a Queen is present. 3 CP • Tawny: Tawny Ekells are as big as ponies, with pale, brown, and yellow feathers/fur. They can have spots on them as well. Tawnys are more meek and shy than the queen Snowys, and are the only non-queen females. 2 CP • Barn: These Ekells are the smallest, being about the size of a great horned owl and down. They are normally brown and pale with different shades of red here and there. Barn owls are very loud and hyper. 1 CP • Albino: Albinos are, excluding the Queen, the rarest of the Ekells. Their size varies, and they have pale brown or white fur with red eyes for the males, and pink for the females. 3 CP

Chasmis Chasmis are basically small cats, with big paws and can control magic. They wear collars that represent their rank (and element). Chasmis are childish and playful, and speak very fast. Chasmis also have large ears and large tails. Bonding Chasmi bondings are held within the forest. Their parents aren’t present at the bonding (*gasp*) and they usually go to somebody who offers food. Or a toy. That works too. Mating Chasmis have a battle of elements. The queens watch while the males fight it out. She normally stops it before anything gets out of hand, and chooses her mate. Then they run off. Oh, the fights are normally very playful. Ranks • Nature: These are the highest ranking Chasmis, able to control and/or talk to any living thing. These Chasmis are the most – and only – serious ones you’ll ever meet. Theyir fur is different shades of green and brown. FEMALES: 4 CP MALES: 3 CP • Lunars: These Chasmis are the most mysterious. They are very friendly but are pranksters. They can control any type of light, whether it be lunar or solar. Their fur comes in shades of silver, purple, and black. BOTH 3 CP • Flame: These are the ranbunctious and fighter Chasmis. Their pelts come in bright reds, oranges, and golds. They control fire, are extreme dare devils, and sometimes can have quite a temper. FEMALE: 3 CP MALE: 2 CP • Wind: Wind Chasmis are…flighty. Their thoughts wander and they are easily distracted. Winds’ fur is white, with the occasional pale blue and pale brown. BOTH: 2 CP • Water: Water Chasmis go with the flow and are the questioners. They will ask questions about EVERYTHING. Their fur is blue with the occasional turqouise or white. FEMALES: 2 CP MALE: 1 CP

Arnur Arnur are most easily described as large deer; for the front half. The back half is bird-like. They have short coats, the males have antlers; they have large, feathery wings; and their hind quarters are all feathers. Their long tails most resemble a dragon’s, their front feet are hooves while their hind feet are talons. Arnur speak with their thoughts, normally feelings and pictures. Bonding The Arnur are brought to a clearing in the forest by a parent, usually the father once they are old enough to eat their own food (they’re carnivores). Bondeds are required to greet the parent, or they’ll probably be chased off. To Approach an Arnur, you must either nod your head in greeting or bow/curtsy. It depends on what you think their personality is like. If they nod/bow back, you can approach; if they take a step backwards, go to another one. Once you’re allowed to approach, normally just talking and/or giving food (meat) will have them bond you. Their names can be anything you want. Mating Arnur mating is very simple; the female calls the males, and once they come, they run in the forest. Whoever catches her wins. Ranks • Falcon: These are the only queen Arnur. They have gray coats, while their feathers are a mix of black, white, and gray (including their wings). They are very speculative and think a lot. 4 CP • Eagle: These are the higher Kings. The have huge antlers and bronze coats, while their featheres and wings are black and white with the occasional gold. Eagle Arnur are regal, and will take a lot of cunning to get their attention. 3 CP • Hawk: Hawk Arnur have smaller antlers, roan coats and red and bronze feathers on their wings and hind quarters. They tend to be suspicious but are smarter than their Eagle brothers. 2 CP • Merlin: These are the only non-lord males. Their antlers are a tad smaller than hawks, and they are the smartest of the male Arnur. In fact, they can actually manage two or three word sentences, but they are extremely quiet and shy. Their coats are gray, brown and silver, their feathers the same. 2 CP • Dove: Dove Arnur have white coats with pale brown and white feathers. Doves are very modest though their coats and feathers are very pretty. 1 CP • Pidgeons: Pidgeons are the smallest Arnur, with gray coats and yellow and white feathers. Pidgeons are flighty and not very smart, but are a riot because of it. 1 CP

Wawels Wawels are sleek, large dolphin creatures. Their skin is pink for the females, and red for the males. Wawels have their own language, but their bonded will be able to tell what they say, though how is unknown. They are music lovers and sing, and will love any type of music. Females are higher ranking than males, and their rank is decided on the type of jewel set in their foreheads. Bonding Wawels bond in (of course) water. To get them to come to you, however, you can either sing, or play an instrument. Even if you try, they’ll probably approach you. Either they’ll join along with the tune you’re playing, or they’ll listen and once you’re finished, they’ll start up a song of their own and have you try to match it. When they bond, well, you’ll know. Mating Wawel’s mating is a beautiful thing to witness. The males will sing to the female, swimming around her and doing dazzling tricks; she’ll watch them all without saying or singing a word. Once she chooses, she’ll swim over to him and start singing; then they’ll swim off until their song ends. Ranks • Quarts: Quartz Wawels are the largest, and they are the romantic ones. Their songs will touch your heart even if you don’t know the words. The Quartz on their foreheads is pink for the females and black for males. Quartz are also very in tune with their bondeds. 4 CP • Emerald: Emeralds are the next highest ranking. They sing songs of nature. They can be calm as a breeze or fierce as a storm. They are mostly calm wawels but very defensive for nature. AKA no littering in their prescence. 3 CP • Sapphire: These wawels sing fast-tempo songs, up beat and very catchy. Sapphires are dare devils through and through. 2 CP • Diamonds: Their songs are wide ranged and you can only tell their preference if the diamond on their forehead favors a color. They can be calm, romantic, or a horror to handle. 1 CP

Paxim Paxim are cute creatures that are as big as a cat. They are mice, with bigger, round ears and exotically colored fur. They have strange markings on their back, in a different language. They mindspeak and they are very smart. Bonding Paxim bondings are located in caves with plenty of space, books, and parchment and ink. The parents will not be around; approach anyone that most intruiges you. Ask about their work, read over their shoulder, or listen to them. If they respond, you have their attention; if they don’t, move on or stay. No bribes will work with them, except for maybe education. Mating Paxim mating is very…educated. The female asks question to question, and whatever male is left at the end of three rounds wins the female. If nobody makes it to the third round, she can either start another round or just pick. Ranks • Teacher: Teachers are the Queens of the Paxim. They are the most learned and are very patient, and are willing to teach anyone – or anything. Their fur is silver with red writing, with a red apple mark somewhere on her. 4 CP • Storyteller: These are the undisputed kings, and anyone could tell by their masterful stories, which have a magic woven in their words that enables you to actually experience the story. Their stories are always in third person, though they talk regularly. Their fur is gray with black writing. 3 CP • Writer: Writers love writing stories. Though they can’t speak them well, their writing is wonderful, and whether it be romantic, tragic, action, or mysterious, you’ll love it. They are the second kings, with black fur and gold runes. 2 CP • Reader: These are the only non-queen females. Readers are reading-fanatics. They’ll take any book and read it, front to back, back to font, even upside down if they’re that bored. Their favorite genre depends on their personality. Their fur is parchment colored with glossy black writing. 1 CP • Messenger: They are the only non-king males. Messengers love to carry around messages in their belly pouch to bring to another person, or even remember things for their bondeds. Their fur is white with gold writing. 1 CP

Quileu Quileu are the darkest creatures you’ll find. Taking the shape of huge panthers, they look like living shadows, though they do have fur that feels cold to the touch. They mindspeak, and whne they talk it’s as if they’re growling it. Or laughing maniacally. You can only see a Quileu’s real fur color in the moonlight (oh, and all Quileu’s eyes are red). Bonding Quileu bondings are watched by the parents, though they won’t be in sight, so you don’t need to pay respects to them. There’s really only one way to bribe them; to be scared out of your wits when they try to scare you. And yes, they will try to scare you. They bond in the forest at night, or at the rocky base of Cloud Mountain; still at night. They’ll play tricks on you and everything, so be prepared to be scared when you attend one of their bondings. Mating Quileu bondings are hair-rising. The females try to seduce the males, while the males try to trick her into choosing them by trapping her into promising them something. The males are also very sneaky with each other; it’s almost like a game, really. But with higher stakes, of course. If nobody tricks her over a certain amount of time, the female will chose whoever impressed her most. Ranks • Lord/Lady: These Quileu’s have silver fur with gold paws, face masks, and underbellies. They are extremely dark, personality wise, always pointing out the worst in situations almost casually, their voice always as cold as their fur, implant thoughts of horror or madness in others, though never their bondeds, though they do like to torture them. 4 CP • Count/Countess: These Quileu have black fur with sapphire patches on them for the males, and emerald for the females. Counts and Countesses have major tempers, and whenever they are outsmarted, they’ll probably attack. They are devious and underhanded, play tricks on everyone, and laugh outwright at other’s problems. 3 CP • Knight: Knights have bronze fur with silver on their head, almost like a helment, and on their paws. Knights are blunt and not the brightest, but they will be outright mean, though they do protect the higher ranking shinies. 2 CP • Squire: Squires have gray fur with red flame markings on them. You’d think that Squires are the most normal of Quileus, but they’re almost the worst. Just their prescence can give somebody nightmares, and a feeling of dread washes over anyone whenever their around or whenever you hear their voice. They even inflict these things on their bondeds. 1 C

Bouey Bouey are little furballs that puff out to fly around. They have short little legs, huge eyes, and two antennae. Boueys love sweets, and can actually make them; with magic and by cooking. Their fur is as soft as chinchilla fur, and they are snuggle bugs. Bonding Bouey bondings are very well appreciated. They are almost always sweet feasts, made by the young Bouey themselves. You don’t really bribe, except with compliments for their food, which they always love. DON’T NOT eat, they’ll take it as an insult. When one comes over and personally offers you something they’ve made, that’s the bond. Mating Bouey’s mating is basically show and tell…sort of. The males bake something VERY unique, offer it to the female; whichever she likes best, she’ll choose him, and they’ll “fly” off together. Ranks • Cotton Candy: Cotton Candy Boueys are the queens. These Bouey can make other foods but their speciality is cotton candy. Their fur comes in blue and pink, in any style. These Bouey are lovable, extremely friendly, and love to cuddle. 4 CP • Marshmellow: Marshmellow Boueys are the kings. They can cook other things but their speciality is anything to do with marshmellows, like smores and fluff. Their fur is white, dark brown and sandy brown. They are firm but always ready for cuddling. 3 CP • Honey: One of the non-queen females. Honey Bouey rule in the art of making honey and there are two honeycombs at the ends of their antennae. Honeys are the most lovable, cuddable, and most friendly Bouey you will meet. Their fur is yellow/gold. 2 CP • Caremel: One of the non-king males. Specializing in caremel, these Boueys can be a little reserved in showing their feelings, and other than Marshmellows, are the only ones who can loose their temper. Their fur is bronze and/or dark brown. 2 CP • Toffee: The lowest ranking female. Toffee Bouey are the Toffee masters and can make them in any flavor imaginable. Their fur comes in browns and reds. Toffees are a little bit more serious but will fall for anything and can get very emotional. 1 CP • Nougat: Nougats are just the same as any other Bouey and specialize in nougat. Nougats love getting hugs and are very hyper, and will knock you down. Their fur is gray with traces of blue and white. 1 CP
